Описание A German Panzerkampfwagen III Ausf J medium tank negotiating a river crossing in central Europe during WWII. This tank has a main armament of with a 50mm L/42 main gun. (Australian War Memorial 044596). A German Panzer III Ausf.J tank. The tank belongs to 18th Panzer Division and the photograph was probably taken during the crossing of the River Bug at Pratulin in June 1941. (George Forty, A Photo History of Tanks in Two World Wars, Blandford Press, 1984, p. 80.)
