English: Democratic Republic of Sao Tome (April 12, 2006) - Seamen Justin Lacy, left, and Maurico Payne assigned to the submarine tender USS Emory S. Land (AS 39) tighten a turnbuckle attached to a pelican hook anchor chain stopping device after paying out enough chain to reposition the ship during an anchoring evolution on the ship's fantail. Land is currently anchored off the coast of the small island nation of the Democratic Republic of Sao Tome and Principe conducting training exercises and community relations projects host nationals.
