English: ARABIAN GULF (Dec. 26, 2011) Sailors aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Kidd (DDG 100) remotely operate the MK38 MOD 2 25mm machine gun system during a general quarters drill. Kidd is assigned to Combined Task Force 151, a multi-national, mission-based task force working under Combined Maritime Forces, to conduct counter-piracy operations in the Southern Red Sea, Gulf of Aden, Somali Basin, Arabian Sea, and Indian Ocean.
