Русский: Волкан Семёнович Горанов (настоящие фамилия и имя Захари Симеонов Захариев, 1904—1987) — болгарский военный лётчик и военачальник, эмигрировавший в 1931 году в СССР и находившийся на службе в Рабоче-крестьянской Красной Армии в 1940—1945 годах. Как лётчик-истребитель советской добровольческой авиационной группы, воевал в гражданской войне в Испании на стороне республиканцев в 30-х годах. Герой Советского Союза (31.12.1936). Во время Великой Отечественной войны был начальником учебных заведений Гражданского Воздушного Флота СССР. В 1945 году возвратился в Болгарию и поступил на службу в Болгарскую Народную армию, командующий ВВС Болгарски (1947—1955), заместитель Министра народной обороны БНР (1965—1973). Народный депутат, председатель Совета ветеранов болгарских ВВС. Генерал-полковник Болгарии. В СССР имел воинские звание полковник.

This work is in the public domain in the United States, because it was in the public domain in its home country (Russia) on the URAA date (January 1, 1996), and it wasn't re-published for 30 days following initial publications in the U.S.
