Text Appearing Before Image: MAMMALS OF STURT NATIONAL PARK would be found inhabiting these sites, but after thoroughly inspecting twenty of these caves no evidence of bat occupancy has been found. 2 Marsupials Order: Polyprotodonta Family: Dasyuridae Three species of this family have been found within Sturt National Park. The three are: (i) Sminthopsis crassicaudata (ii) Sminthopsis froggatti (Figure 3) (iii) Vlanigale gilesi (Figure 4) Studies on P. gilesi and the two Sminthopsis species show an interesting ecological picture of several little-known species of marsupial.
