  • Псаметих (664 – 610 г. пр.н.е.) управлява Саис като васал на Асирия, но с идеята да постигне върховенство над останалите владетели в делтата на Нил и Долен Египет. Усилията му в периода до 656 г. пр.н.е. са насочени в тази посока и се увенчават с успех.[5]
  • Танутамун е цар на Куш (664 – 653 г. пр.н.е.) и номинален фараон на Горен Египет (664 – 656 г. пр.н.е.).[6][7]
