Batrachoseps major е вид земноводно от семейство Plethodontidae.[2][3] Видът не е застрашен от изчезване.[4]

Разпространен е в Мексико и САЩ.[4]
Обитава градски и песъчливи и гористи местности, пустинни области, планини, хълмове, каньони, градини, ливади, храсталаци и крайбрежия.[5]
